Open reservoir and remove the rubber cup(air dam), make sure there is fluid in there
Open the bleeder and let it gravity bleed, most of the air should come out
You can make a DIY air purge with a short hose and a small funnel
I like a clear hose, it needs to fit snugly on the bleeder and funnel
And funnel needs to have a way to hang it above bleeder, hole in top edge works fine, lol
Open bleeder and put funnel hose device on it, works for clutch and brakes both, I put a bit of fluid in the funnel to start with to replace the air that comes out
Push pedal down and hold it down, this will push most of the air out and into the funnel part where it goes to the surface, bubbles up
Slowly let pedal come back up and it will suck in just fluid, no air
Repeat, size of funnel matters here, lol
Have a cup/can ready to catch fluid from the funnel when you pull the hose off the bleeder, no air will go in because of gravity, fluid will come out, tighten bleeder

Alright so I did what you said and got a 3/8 1/4 vinyl tubing perfect size i set everything up and messed around with it a bit but only got the smallest amount of fluid to come through then it no longer came out I did everything from disconnecting the golden piece from the slave to even blowing and sucking on the top part of the slave where the dot 3 goes in using the tubing i had my uncle come out and we have done it before on this truck without and issue but for some reason its just not working so my thoughts are maybe there's a clog somewhere? the battery doesnt have to be hooked up right to do this? i wouldn't think it would

No, you don't need the battery
The Quick connector on end of hose from master needs to be on the slave or you can't push clutch pedal down, it has a valve inside
If you open the bleeder fluid or air should come out on its own, gravity bleed from reservoir
If you have a helper then they can push the pedal down while bleeder is open, then close bleeder before they release the pedal, that will suck in fluid from reservoir as needed
If system was allowed to run dry then you may need to pull out master to bleed it while its upside down
