95 Ranger obdii or not?
1995 was a phase-in year and some Fords were OBD and some were OBDII. My understanding is that all 95 Rangers are early OBDII. Check the underhood Emissions Compliance Label to be sure. If it is OBDII, it will say so.

Here's a good article with some trouble shooting techniques and a listing of Ford/OBD trouble codes:

This one is for OBDII codes:

ford did have some OBD-II vehicles in 95, if it is, it will be under the dash on the driver and sometimes the passenger side. if its OBD-I, it should be under the hood, check around the firewall and around the sides of the fenders. sometimes it has a cover on it, that may say diagnostics, etc
autozone will check for codes on OBD-I ford vehicles, they have the equip, its a matter of whether or not they have someone who knows how to use it. when i worked at autozone i pulled obd-I codes from fords and chevies all the time
