abs brakes come on on dry pavement
I checked the wheel bearings and there tight. When i spin the wheel there's a slight clicking niouse thats the same on both front wheels. There's no abs on the back wheels. Can i disconect the abs all together.I'm not real fond of them anyway.
All ford trucks have had rear abs standard since 86 or so. Your rear brakes are probally out of adjustment. They are very noticeable when they lock.
You can pull the fuse. If you get into an accident and the lack of a fuse comes to light then you may be liable with out your insurance company umbrella.
Id stick a burned out fuse in to cover my butt.

Its in the diiff, top front center.
You can pull the front sensors and clean them off with brake cleaner and reinstall.
The dealer is the only one with a scanner to troubleshoot this. It needs the ford scan tool, other shops may have one you need to ask if they do.
