Hey guys sorry to just join a forum to ask a question i do plan on starting to use a ranger forum but i have a question about my ABS i think.

Its a 200 ranger 2.5l 4 cyl. 2 wheel drive.

So ever since i got the truck its done this weird thing were it makes this Ticking sounds and you can fell the brake pedal jump a little bit.
and the ABS has never worked when it snows if i dont pump the break it wont take over and pump by its self.

My speedo as always never worked right it goes up to 60 mph and thats it even though i know im going faster then 60.
and help would be awesome its very annoying and i dont know much about trucks but i will get in there and take something apart if i have to.

Have you checked to see if there are any codes present? Sounds like it good be an ABS sensor/Vehicle speed sensor issue or something along those lines.

 

there are no codes coming up.
Can i just take out a relay? and it will stop at least the ticking?
anyone know what relay it is?
