Hi guys.

Brand new to Ranger forums. I have an issue with my new led bulbs. Just installed (6) #194 White led bulbs in my '03 and it has dark spots. It's not supposed to look like that is it?

Anyone else had this problem and have a solution?

Small "dark spots" aren't uncommon, but it looks like you don't have them all installed.

I'd suggest checking all of the connections on the bulbs, but also check for spots before you reinstall the cluster. I know it's a pain to get it out. Do you have the original bulbs? Check them too to make sure it isn't a problem with the LEDs you ordered.

Is it one of the 6 #194 leds or is there one I'm missing?

 

pull the bulb and flip it the other way. they'll only work one way due to polarity.

easiest way to make sure is to leave the connections on and turn the lights on to see which ones need to be flipped around
