Icon6 Adding power to my bed

I got the idea from my stepfather to add a 12v outlet to the bed of my truck, did some quick Google search in and found a bezel that holds 3 power outlet sockets. I still have to wait for the 12v socket and a dual USB socket to be delivered but today I cut the hole in the bed and mounted the bezel along with a waterproof battery voltage gauge that fits in a power outlet hole. Tomorrow the 12v outlet and the waterproof rocker switch show up, the USB socket came from a difference source and will take longer.

Very cool. I've been wanting to so something like this since I go camping in my truck bed alot. My concern is now something like that would be effected by all the ice and snow around here.

I'm using marine grade everything for this, the power outlet and USB outlet both have rubber water proof covers that cover the outlets and keep water out. They should be fine for snow and ice.
