This is kind of a newbie question, but if i bought a conical air filter with adapter, would I be able to take the box out right now that my filter's in?

Just make sure if the iat sensor and any vaccum lines are in the stock box, they are fitted into the filter

I took the cover off my air box today, and on the cover, there are 2 lines and atleast one of them is a vacuum, I don't know if they both are, or just the one is, but on the actual tubing that goes to the intake, there is another vacuum, so would I have to take the one off the cover and put it on with my new adapter, or does it really make a difference seeing as how I wouldn't be using the box anymore?
