airbag code 4-7 any body know what it is. also door open light on

airbag code 4-7 any body know what it is. also door open light on

im getting airbag code 47 . i changed steering wheel so airbag came out dont know if that caused it and i changed out my seats only things ive done to truck any body have any ideas. also i have a door open light on i sprayed wd40 in latches but nothing any way to figure out which one it is and fix the problem thanks

I had that code the other day, my water bottle rolled around in back and knocked loose the sensor under the passenger seat. I would check there and under the driver's seat first and make sure you have both sensors plugged in. If not use the search i remember seeing a few threads on this.

one ranger I had was really stubborn about the door ajar thing, I had to spray, open close multiple times, spray again, repeat the open/close quite a few cycles. It was also one with the suicide rear half doors, so there were four possible latches. Cab smelled like WD40 for a long time. but that's ok, its a manly smell

mines a 4 door as well does that mean it could be any one of the 4 doors or is it just the 2 big doors that the problem lies at thanks

Any of the four. The rear door latches with the ajar switches are on the bottom.

i read that code 47 is the plug under pass. seat so i took both plugs unplugged them cleaned them with alcohol and plugged them in and unhooked battery to reset cp and it still does it any body else have any input thanks
