Almost impossible to start when it rains

Hi I have a 2003 Ford Ranger. It is almost impossible to start when it's raining or real damp outside. I looked for any wet areas etc. under hood. Haven't found anything that looked out of the ordinary. It starts fine any other time. I was wandering if anyone else has had the problem. Thanks for any help.

your spark plug wires are shot
the moisture is allowing the electricity from the wires to arc to the nearest ground

replace your wires with new 1`s

Also your ecu is in the cowl the shielding around it might have cracked and water could be getting in there

Also check your distributor for any cracks or gaps on side where moisture can get inside. My old Ranger had a tiny crack in the side of it and when ever it was really humid out or rained it wouldn't start also.

pull off the air filter cover and check the air filter for water dampness

or even to see how clogged up the filter is with dirt , or road salt particles

how long since you have had the throttle body thoroughly cleaned out
