Another HID question...

Anyone have a HID kit from www.carhidkits.com ?

Ranger HID Kit

Not wanting to go too extreme on a kit, thinking about the 6000k w/slim ballast upgrade option for $99 - Does that seem like a good deal?

$79 for the kit + $20 for the slim ballast, that's really too high?

Warranty may only be a year, if I read right. Not that great of a warranty if it's only a year.

Theres been a lot of problems with their customer service recently though, just look around here. I've seen 2-3 complaints in the last week on this site alone. I've heard a lot of great things about them too though.

I placed my DDM order a week ago. haven't heard a single thing from them. Money cleared, just waiting for shipping info. Sent a message last night threatening to cancel my order. have a tracking number today.

Went with the kit from www.carhidkits.com ...perhaps in a year or two if someone comes on here and wants to know about kits from carhidkits I can tell them how good they are, or if I didn't like them and went with a DDM kit a few months later.

I went with just low beams. Does each light normally have just one glass tube? Each of my lights have two glass tubes...and the smaller glass tubes look like they have filaments in them, which seemed odd. Not installed yet, but the kit seems to be high quality and 100% plug and play.

Lately the cheapest USPS seems to be faster than regular UPS, for some reason.

As for my lights, install was super simple...but doesn't seem very much brighter than stock. Mine are 35w lights.
