My '06 has Factory auto down on the driver side. Surprise your '09 dose not.

 

If your 2009 came with power windows then it has auto up/down on drivers side

The auto up/down is part of the master switch in 2009 so maybe the switch is just bad, drivers side gets the most use
It was a separate circuit in 2007 and earlier, not sure on 2008, in the SJB

It has the Auto down on the drivers side but NOT up. When I take the switch out I can clearly see the down switch that you hit to have the window go all the way down, but no suck toggle is on the upside.

My 2000 had it, and I am shocked my 2009 new to me doesn't.

Maybe there was a Lawsuit
Someone rolled their hand or arm up in the window, or their kid did

Don't know, most cars have both ways, even in the back seats
