Well I havent driven around with em yet, but I always pretended like I did before, and was annoyed when my windows wouldnt go on down by themselves... so i'm sure I will.

The funny thing about one though, the auto UP for the passenger side, on the driver's side switch, takes a much lighter touch, that is a very short release to trigger the auto. using the switch on the passenger door doesn't do that, nor does either side on auto down. just something to get used to I guess.

I finally got around to installing these modules.

First I did auto down for the passenger. Install was easy and at first worked great. Then I noticed every now and then I heard a chatter sound and it wouldn't work, or only go down partially.

After replacing the module I pulled the circuit board and found this. I wonder what happened

Second, can someone clarify this statement for the auto up on the drivers side "Cut the WH/BK wire going to the motor in the motor harness, not at the switch. You also need to remove the entire inner door panel and peel back the liner to find this connector as shown to the right. Below is the motor connector and you can see the wire you must cut and splice to."

Basically, it's telling you not to wire at the switch, but at the motor. Tear off all the gray liner stuff to find it. and thats the wire you cut. don't make it more complicated than it is. you're just going down a little lower to splice in. I dn't know where the wire goes but I'm sure there is a reason you have to go to the motor.

So the first two steps want it wired at the motor, but the other wires go to the switch?

terminal one goes to the motor, terminal two goes to the other one (for the white/black)
you tap into the red at the motor harness as well.

and the others are at the switch.

so steps 2,3, and 5, all are connecting AT THE MOTOR. The others are at the switch. It says in the tutorial, but 2, 3, and 5 are the motor harness connections.

I think both sides were painless, but the drivers door is a little trickier just because you have to tear into it a little more.

I'm only planning to do Auto-Down for the passenger window on the driver and passenger side.

I've got two boxes left in my tool box, so it should work perfect.
Also, Where did you guys put your boxes in the door?

I just stuck it above the speaker, I pulled the panel back just a little bit to slide it in, the panel sits close enough that it will hold it there

are we not on the same page here? haha one box to add passenger down?

I'll quit playing games, I know what you're thinking of how it is haha. You DO NOT need two boxes for passenger down on both switches. Just add one on the passenger side. It will take care of both.

At this point, I'm just going to live with windows that take me an extra 5 seconds to roll them down.
