B3000 and B2300 Compatability questions

I have a 1995 B3000 2WD 5 Speed Man Tranny and have the chance to purchase a 1996 B2300 as a parts truck pretty cheap. The B2300 truck actually looks pretty good(this truck has broken windshield, need brakes all the way around and needs clutch work plus a good cleaning and it would be a pretty nice truck)). It seems most of the body and interior parts look the same . Im sure motor different though. What about tranny? It is also a 5 speed manual. I was just wondering down the road what parts I could use from this truck? Plus if anybody in Va needed a part big or small we could deal.

The B number tells the engine. For the B3000 it is a 3.0 V6 for the B2300 it is a 2.3L 4-cyl. The transmissions will most likely be different. You should be able use everything for swapping outside of the engine and tranny. I'm not too sure about the rear end.
