Icon5 Beginner's help to switching to LED lights

Hi guys, i have a 2010 ford with the original lights. A while back I had a problem where my high beams were always on (even if the switch its in the off position, for some reason the truck thought it was on) so it would drain my battery everytime I turned the truck off (they would still stay on). A random mechanic guy helped by unplugging the fuse (from some panel under the passenger side) for the high beam indicator and now everythings great with my lights (just can't ever use high beams anymore).
Anyways, the normal headlights (i think they're called lowbeams) are really dim and I want to upgrade to bright angel, LED, or halo lights (don't know the difference in these but whatever is brightest). What's the easiest way to do this? Any links to specific products? I probably need more help with installation and wondering if it will affect what that guy had done already.? Thank you in advance

You should solve the issue with the lights staying on first before changing to LEDs. Not having properly functioning headlights is a huge safety issue.

Technically, there aren't any direct lamp replacements that utilize the factory housings that are DOT approved (street legal)... you need to swap out the entire housing.
