Best brand of fuel pump assembly

So the truck I just purchased is getting up in years and I'm thinking next spring I'm going to have the bed pulled to fix a couple of rust spots on it behind the cab. While the bed is off I'm thinking I might as well go ahead and replace the fuel pump and assembly. Is there a particular brand that people have more success with than another? Prices range all over but I'd rather pay a little more and get something that's going to last another 20 years than go cheap and have to do it all in 5 years. Also is there anything else I should be thinking about while I have the bed pulled? 2000 XLT Regular Cab 2WD 112" Wheelbase

The best pump is the one installed from the factory . You'll pay more but an authentic motorcraft pump from a ford dealer is the best choice.

I used to work at Airtex. At that time their fuel pumps were nearing OEM quality and we were even making some for Ford. (started on the 99 cobra w/returnless system)
