To those of you that have added a electric brake controller, where did you mount it? Care to share a pic?

I haven't decided totally but I think I'm going to put it in front of the ash trey. The damn thing is near useless and I don't smoke so...

 

Mine is to the right under the steering wheel

Can you still get the access panel off? Or did you bolt it to the panel?

BTW The double din radio looks real nice in there. I did the same thing. I only had to trip 1/8" off the upper edge of the bezel.

 

Yup, acces panel is still removable, i can unplu my brake controller, and it is screwed only into the plastic, i didn't touche the metal panel in the back.

And for my DDIN, I also had to trim the 1/8''
