Brittle bulb clips

Has anyone else had a problem with brittle plastic on the plug/clip that connects to the headlight bulb? When I first got my truck I switched to silver stars and broke passenger side, replaced with one from a cobalt. Today pulled lights to do the headlight paint mod, and the mfing drivers side broke. Now I have to find another one. SONOFAbatch

the clip on the pig tail broke? I would just plug the bulb in and then wrap it with some electrical tape and call it a day.

Yep I've broken one on each headlight.

Ohh maybe we're talking about different things. I'm talking about those 2 little prongs that hold the bulb in. Mine still stay in fine.

I've broke both prongs off on my pass side, it still stays in fine though.
