Well at 10 this morning my buddy called me to come help him fix his truck since it wont start. well we went and got a new starter since his has the sel. on the starter and put it in and well it still wont start and its beating us to death. we checked the terminals and even tried jumping it off. Anyone have any ideas. and its a 2001 auto

 

Check the 50 amp fuse and the Starter relay in the BJB (the relay is controled by the PCM). Also check the DTR (aka neutral safety switch)
