Can't find the ignition switch
Can't find the ignition switch
I have a 1990 Ford ranger, 2.3 I4, and manual trans. I've already taken off the two plastic pieces covering most of the steering column and have also removed the turn signal but for the life of me cannot find the ignition switch.
If it's been answered or there's a video or something that would be helpful. So far it's always results on other cars and I can't seem to find any info on an ignition switch since most people substitute the ignition lock cylinder as the ignition switch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here's a video for a newer model, but I'm sure it's the same.
It's down low on the steering column connected with a rod.
What's going on with yours ?

It cranks perfectly fine but once I let go of the ignition it cuts off and it intermittenly cut off while driving and is now so bad that it's bot worth starting. I've already replaced the ignition lock cylinder, fuel pressure is good and I even threw in a new fuel filter for safe measure. I figured I'd replace the ignition switch and see if that would help
