cargo lights

my cargo lights used to come on when i would reverse. Now they dont. I dont understand why it just stopped working, is there a simple answer to this question???

Cargo lights are not factory wired to come on in reverse.

[B]well its fixed now, it turned out that those lights really never came on but my 3rd brake light was out. There was a lot of corrosion within the light bulb fixtures. All we had to do was clean it out with a little bit of w d 40.
