Cigarette lighter dead

Hello my 12v works fine but the cigarette lighter doesn’t seem to have power. Is there a fuse specific to the lighter? Also since I’m not a smoker has anyone swapped out the lighter for a regular 12v plug. If so, how hard was it.

Yes, it has a specific fuse, same fuse usually powers DLC(OBD plugin) as well
Tell me the year and I will tell you the fuse #, it will be in cab fuse box

Cigar lighter is already is an AUX plug-in, just leave lighter part in glove box
But an AUX plug is NOT a cigar lighter

Thank You Sir. So if my DLC works can I safely assume it's not a fuse? or could that be under it's own fuse?

DLC uses same fuse, #17..............according to wiring diagrams :)

You can pull the fuse and see if OBD reader powers up
