How do you clean a MAF sensor? My 3.0 is idling rough but as soon as I give it some gas it runs fine. Some people said that they cleaned their MAF sensor and it that fixed the problem so I hope thats the same for me.

Spray the wires inside it with electrical contact cleaner or there is a MAF cleaner spray on the market as well. Don't touch the wires mind you.. just spray them.

Also, what you describe sounds typical vacuum leak to me.

use a electrical component spray, they leave no residue on the components

 

I just used Brake cleaner. Seemed to work just fine for me as the code went away.

yea I think it might be a vacum leak too. Their is a slit in the hose that goes from my intake tube to the valve cover :/ but im going to try cleaning the MAF sensor and see how that goes.
