Icon7 Clutch Master Cylinder

I have a 2001 XLT 4WD. Does anyone have a procedure for changing the Clutch Master Cylinder? I keep losing the pedal when the weather gets hot. As long as it is cool I have no problem. I really don't want to move to Alaska.

Thanks,

George

What motor and 2 or 4 wheel drive? All you should have to do is get a clutch line release tool.

Also consider doing the slave. That is a common failure part in Rangers.

I know you will have to bench bleed the master.

negative i just bled mine on the truck when i replaced mine. you don't really need the clutch line release tool. i used two screwdrivers. and an fyi when it talks about to use a screw driver to open the bleeder valve its on the end of the hose where it connects to the slave.
