cold cathode wiring help

i just got my cold cathode lights in the mail and i desided to put them in and wire them up. this is where i need your help.

the directions say
1. turn off your computer or the switch.- got that done

2. make sure to plug one or two lights and wire harness into the inverter with the three/two pitch connector.- got that done

3. plug the male 4-pin molex connector into power supply.- where is the power supply that this plugs into?

You will have to find out which wires are for the constant 12v (ACCessory) and power/ground, it shouldn't be that hard. Make sure you either tape up the connections with electrical tape or heat shink tubing.

The red should be power, the ground is black, and yellow is ACC. You will need to get rid of the computer switch and go to Radio Shack or the like and buy a relay.

I used to have those in my Ranger. You have to ditch the computer plug and get some kind of controller. I had a music controller for my lights. You should only have the two wires coming of the blue box for the power and ground and the other set of wires are the one's that you can unplug that go to the light.

I had like 8 of them in the truck.

on the molex conector. yellow = 12v, red = 5v, black = ground

The male and female conectors allow you pass thru power to a cd rom or w/e. The red wire going into the blue invertor box is a 12v wire.

The CCFL is a case modders must, its just another addiction i have.

some pics for those that never seen it

u dont need any connector and controller...just fine the 12V power and ground, eliminate the rest and its just like wiring up any other 12V device.
