computer not oing EVAP test

computer not doing EVAP test
New to the forum.
I had to change an O2 sensor to get my truck to pass smog here in So. Cal. But since I have done that and then cleared the codes from the computer everything has done its test except the EVAP system. I cant get it smogged until it has completed all its tests. I have driven it now for 3 diferrent days and for various amount of miles each time. Today I did a 105 mile trip and it still has not done the test. I even make sure that I have somewhere between 1/4 to 3/4 of gas and have let it sit over night for a cold soak to see if that is required.
Oh almost forgot, i have a 99 Ranger XLT 2.5L 5 speed manual tranny.
Any help you all can give me would be great!
