cranks, but wont start

a few weeks ago my 91 ranger crapped out...again. its got the 2.9L, im trying not to spend anymore money if i can help it, but, im dedicated to it. anyways, it is getting fuel and spark, the plugs are fouled, i havent been able to check compression. one morning i hopped in and drove 300 feet from the parking lot, and the engine just kinda, slowed down and died in a matter of seconds. i got it to a parking lot nearby, and it would only crank. the next evening i went to go push it the 300 ft to my parking lot and it cranked. it built RPMs slow and i let it run for 10 mins or so. its been 3 weeks or so, since it started. i put in a new ignition module and still nothing. anybody have any suggestions?

How do you know that it's getting fuel? Kind of sounds like symptoms of a fuel delivery problem, but it could be more than that.

there should be a little box located under your passenger airbag (where the passenger puts their feet) on top of that box there should be a button. Press the button. Then start your truck.

i tried reseting the inertia switch, and i know its getting fuels because when i take a screwdriver to the valve on top of the engine fuel squirts out.

Try the timing belt? Maybe the tensioner is bad? Also the cam position sensor could be bad? Try pop starting it and see if it runs.

check the filter and if your up to it clean your lines. if the pump picked up **** from your tank it might have made its way to the carb and clogged it so theres reason to clean all the lines.
