Need suggestions for skid plate install

I bought a front skid plate from Ford and I'm trying to install it. How the ef do you get the bolts in the frame? I got the bottom two but the four on the frame are killing me. I can't find a hole big enough to maneuver the bolts IN the frame rails. So you guys that installed the Ford skids, how'd you get them on there? Is this something I'm gonna have to weld on, because I'd rather have it detachable.

what bolts are you using?

you know the same bolts that hold the spare tire jack thing up are the same bolts used in the bottom of the frame if i remember correctly Since you are on 33s the crank jack holding the stock tire is no longer useful take it out and use those bolts.

Are the holes in the frame threaded? I looked but didn't see any threads, I may have undercoating in the holes though.

They were for me. I used the holes that the plastic thing was in. I had to thread the holes on the crossmember though.

So it'd be alright to just use some self-tapping stainless screws? I'd just have to find the right size.
