dome light info computor
hi, i was a jy today, got some great seats from a 99 mountainer for my 97 ranger. i noticed the dome light had a small screen under it. i assume it may be an info type screen like on my cherokee upper console. was wondering if the rangers came prewired for all the options, and if so, if this unit would work in my truck. anyone have any idea about this? thanks, jp
That's the OHC you hear people talk about. It reads out the temperature outside as well as the direction that you are going. Wires must be run to it though. It's not too bad of a project
does this do anYTHIING ELSE? on my cherokee it reads mpd average, mpg real time actual, milesto empty, time elapsed since reset. there seem to be a lot of wires there for just 2 dome lights and compass and temp? it did come out of a sunroof car so i know some of those wires are for that.
You have a wire for map lights, dome lights, temp sending and receiving, power on, dimmer, and ground. There aren't all that many. It's a fairly simple modification, but there isn't anything but lights, temp, and direction that you get from it
