I pulled 2.9 v 6 from an 89 ranger and replaced it with an 2.3 from a 92 ranger

I switched wire harness and computers but my fuel pump will not run and I have no spark.

was there anything else I needed to switch ?

I read about a PATS on another post what is that?

 

I should add the 2.3 was from a wrecked truck

 

I don't think the 92s have PATS. I also don't know when started using an inertia switch but that might be your problem.
