Door locks after theft

My truck was broken into and they completely screwed up my locks. They must have not been able to get in that way so they finally broke out the window. Not before destroying both locks. Here is what one of the locks looks like.

The driver door locks with the fob, but the passenger side does not. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this?

Thanks.

They punched them out. what year truck are you? if its older style, start looking in the junkyard for locks/ignition cylinder. those ones are garbage now. the Passenger side lock may have become dislodged from the rod that pushes/pulls the lock. take your door panel off and take a look see.

Not worth going through insurance eh? Too bad you couldn't catch the ****** in action and teach them a lesson in the process.. I fking hate thieves. LR

Yeah, not going through insurance. It's not covered for that.I was thinking about doing that. Might spot weld a small plate behind it and fill it in. I am not a body man, but I might be able to make it look acceptable.

I didn't get a chance to see if I can make the passenger door work. I will try that tomorrow.

I set up a spare webcam and made it work with a motion sensor to automatically catch and record any movement for next time.

Thanks for the input!
