Door Wiring (2001)

Icon5 Door Wiring (2001)

What iam needing is the wiring diagram for the drivers door..more specifically i need the door lock wiring ..i need to figure out the door ajar wires and were they go

There is just one yellow/black wire that runs directly from the GEM to the driver door ajar switch which is part of the latch mechanism. It grounds through the switch when the door is open. When the GEM sees ground level on that wire, it turns on the dome light, chime, whatever.

Drivers door lock wiring:

1. PK/LG wire & PK/YE wire run from central security module to the drivers lock switch. BK wire from switch to ground.

2. RD/OG wire & PK/BK wire runs from central security module to door lock actuator.

Drivers door Ajar Switch:

1. YE/BK wire runs from GEM to door ajar switch. BK from switch to ground

well mine don't work...its wired up right to...piece of ****...lol
