Easiest way to remove emblems?

Hey everyone,

On the tailgate of my ranger the dealer's logo emblem is mounted...However it is literally chipped in half.

What is the easiest way to remove those types of emblems? Without damaging the paint, etc.?

Thanks guys!

WD-40 and Goo Gone work well for me. Heat gun helps to loosen the glue up

I think he's talking about the little decal the dealers stick on your car in the lot. Not the actual emblem.

3M eraser wheel is by far the best to get off a decal or the double sided tape left over from an emblem.

x2, I used one of those for removing the tape left over from emblems and hood scoops, took me about 5 minutes to do what took about 2 hours by hand

I used a blow drier and goo gone. It worked, used both those things to remove my pin stripes too.

I'm actually talking about like an emblem. The dealership sticks their dealer emblem on the back of the truck and it is similar to the Ranger emblem

Just get something under a corner of it enough that you can grab it. Then just pull. That is how I got my Ranger emblems off and had no problems.

Hair dryer works. It needs about 10 min but there is a hole under it so put something there.
