EATC help questions

I have started looking into hooking my EATC outside of the truck to make sure all of my parts are good

1st thing on the sun load sensor I don't have the plastic thing that is around the actual sensor -- is that going to cause a problem later on down the road?

2nd thing Ive got a bunch of random parts that I got with the package ( i bought this from a member on RPS)

these were NEVER mentioned on griggs cardomain so Im taking it that I dont need them -- i also got like pieces of the fan shroud the flapper door thing and stuff..

3rd on the fan speed controller I DONT have the wiring harness -- should i just buy a new one from ford or try to find one of these in a yard..

the unit that im using is from a 98-01 mountaineer/explorer if that helps narrow things down..

Will an OHC outside temp sensor work for the EATC If so i need one how much for one i know a member has an extra lol

I think that is all I have for now, when i get some spair time ill buy some wire and goods and get this thing tested outside the vechile..

thanks in advance!!!

The sensor is different from the OHC temp sensor, I know that much.

Those actuators are for the heater system. If yours work you don't need them.

As for the first pic I have no idea wtf that is.

The sunload needs to just sit in the hole at the top of the dash. Im sure you can get away with some tape.

Outside temp is different for EATC and OHC. you need the correct sensor for each unit or they don't work.

GL man I did mine this weekend. It was so much fun.
