Efan fell off.

I have the Jusnes modified kit and it fell off the other day. Well not completely just two of the retainers broke off.

So im just wondering what my options are. Am I stuck with the threw radiator style attaching or is there an alternative I missed?

Get some bailing wire and secure it to the radiator as back up. I've had two of my plastic mounts break and the wire was my ace in the hole to keep it from falling off completely.

you can custom make brackets to mount to the fan shroud location.....

I think this is the best setup I have seen for an efan and will be doing it sometime. I should have done it from the begining but didn't quite understand it. I guess I just had to do it wrong to understand.

John do you have pictures of how you mounted it? It might help this gentleman and me as well.

The most offroading I done is driving threw the yard to turn around. I did a J turn last week that may have been the culprit.

id just get one of those zip tie kits again, and then run some sort of wire from the top holes to the holes in the radiator where that hose goes through so if they fail again it wont fall off

I got some Flexalite heavy duty trans cooler holders that go through the rad. they really hold up on my chevy, do I used ;;em on the ranger's efan. It's alot thicker of a shaft than the teeny, tiny ones that come with the Jusnes kit.
