Electric brake control wiring question!

Anyone know what color wire is the cold side of the brake light switch? The instructions with the brake control say it is the green one. Guess what, neither one is green on my 2007 Ranger. Anybody out there know which one I should tap into. I don't want to mess up the brake controller.

Thanks!

When I am in doubt, I penetrate the wire with a needle and connect a volt-ohm meter to it. I do this until I find the wire that does what it is suppose to.
