A few new Mods....

Now that I'm going back to school this coming weekend, I did a couple of mods last week.

I started out with putting two 55 watt fog lights under either side of the truck, facing outwards, so I can see whats beside me at night. They've come in handy already, when I was out with a buddy of mine, putting his rail car on his trailer, and taking it up to New Hampshire

I put a 12 volt waterproof outlet that I've had hanging around for a while in the bed, hidden away under the bed rails, so it's out of the way of getting smacked by pallets and stuff, and also so its shielded a little bit more from water. At the same time I put in two more 55 watt fogs, this time facing rearwards, under the rear bumper to act as a second set of reverse lights, I can see a noticably good change at night backing up with them.

I don't have any pictures yet, but will get some up in the morning (as well as a sneak preview of whats to come later this week!) So stay tuned, I'll have them up in the morning.

Is it morning yet?

I've been anxious to see your mounting locations, so snap some shots of that if you haven't taken them yet.

I had a 55 watt fog light mounted under my bumper for reverse-lighting and it helped A LOT! However, my shoddy Zip-Tie mount didn't last very long, and I ended up smashing the light between the ground and the bumper when trailing going over a nice drop-off. Be careful!
