Fog lamp question
Fog lamp question
I would like something to the effect of four of the Hella-type circle lights on the front bumper mounted to whichever type of bar, but the question is in that i would like to have a yellow 3000k HID as lighting. I have not been able to find something that comes as both, so im wondering if i get the lamps, and mount the housings to the bar in whatever fashion, would getting the HIDs to work with that be as easy as running them into the backs of the housing in place of the normal lights that come with it?
Yellow lights deliver better contrast in fog and snow than a 'white' light.
Many times when I'm plowing in a snow storm i will turn off my headlights and just use the marker lights and beacon to see where I'm going.
The headlights just reflect too much glare.
Even from the factory , the fogs shut off when you switch to high beams. Too much white light in fog makes it harder to see.

well to be honest, i feel like the headlights, and hi-beams do a good enough job on their own; sometimes its just obnoxious having more light than day drivin down the other side of the street right at ya. and i would like them for the fog/snow situations
Sorry to hack the thread but can we get a pic of that... sounds cool
