Ford ranger 4.0 Sohc performance

I have a 4.0 Sohc that I currently have out of the truck and on a engine stand. I’m currently putting the screaming demon high voltage ignition module in it cause I heard that was a good performance upgrade for cheap but I also wanna do some more simple upgrades to it to get a little more power I was looking in to tunes what upgrades/ tuners do you guys recommend to squeeze more horse power out of this engine

Running on 91 octane minimum will give you full power, the 4.0l SOHC engines run 9.7:1 compression ratio so can NOT run at full power on 87 octane(regular gas), they have a Knock sensor that changes spark timing to allow them to run 87 octane

Tunes will usually require 91/93 octane to get maximum power, so be prepared to spend more at the pump
No car maker "detunes" an engine, that would be silly, they are selling performance as part of a vehicles package

Higher octane also allows for less EGR use but that causes a spike in NOX(toxic gas) emissions which car makers can not allow, so a tune can get a bit more power there, if you don't care about "the children" breathing your toxic emissions, lol

Other than that there are no power gains without spending big money on cams, heads and lower end(stroking)
