Fuel Gauge Fuse?

06 2.3L fuel pump just went out, removed sending unit/pump. Replaced pump and filter only. I tested the sending unit before re-installation, the 2 fuel gauge float contacts revealed continuity intact ranged 6-85 ohms. Wires/connections all look good. Re-installed and fuel gauge does not work. Truck now runs and all other electrical gauges/switches work. I searched my owners manual and can not find a specific fuse or relay that serves the fuel gauge. Is there one?

No separate fuse for fuel gauge, or separate power, uses clusters power
OHMs of sender is 16 to 160 in 1989 and up Fords, so Rangers

The sender is the Ground for the dash gauge
0 ohms, short to ground, would show below Empty on gauge, below 16 ohms
No connection, so higher than 160 ohms would show above Full

Was working fine. Got a grounding problem apparently, inside tank to pump motor. I'll pull it again. Thanks for help. My plastic fuel line connectors are a nightmare
