Icon8 Fuel Leaking. AARGGHHHH!!

I noticed I was getting really crappy mileage lately and couldn't figure out why.
So this morning I stop for gas, snowing like crazy about 6" already and the fuel pump keeps clicking off. So I had to pull the nozzle halfway out and hold the trigger halfway. I just so happen to look down under the truck and see a steady stream of fuel dripping under the tank.
What do you think the most likely cause of this is, the filler neck or the tank? Looks like it is coming from the top of the tank somewhere. How much is a new neck and is a pain to change? I've never seen one at the u-pull-it yard so I'm thinking i need a new one. I'm very short on time these days and I don't know when I can fix it, but I don't want to keep leaking fuel all over with prices the way they are.

I found them on JC. Which one would I need a 1 1/2" ID or 2" ID?

You will probably have to pull the bed to change the neck. I would get one from a JY and just swap it, you can do it in a afternoon, taking off the bed isn't really difficult.

I've looked in the local JY before and they never have them. Plus I do not even know if it is the neck. Also there is a shortage of Ranger's in my local yard, plus there is almost 10" of snow on the ground right now. It has been dripping when i filled it up for sometime now but today it streamed out and this was the first time it would click the gas pump off on me.
I just called Ford and they want over $400 for one. JC has them for under $50 and Advanced auto has universal one's for under $100 but I need to know the inside diameter. I'm probably going to end up taking it somewhere to get repaired if i can't find one.

What you can do as well is find where the leak is coming from and cut that section out, get a small piece of metal pipe that fits snug inside the neck and clamp both sides. Just like the body lift filler extension.

I think mine is leaking right where it connects to the tank. I'll find out today then I'll have to think of something. Cause there is no way in hell I'm paying $400.

The neck was rotted right where it meets the tank, My fuel pump ring is also starting to go but no leaks. I'm leaving it alone, because I may need a new tank if I messed with it.

I found one on Ebay for $75 but they would not ship overnight. But they did give me a phone number to there warehouse and I'll one by Friday for $120 including overnight shipping. Place is the car part warehouse. I was talking with the mechanic that is helping me out and that is where he purchases the replacement necks for Ranger's due to there high dealer cost. He has had a few in the past year that went bad on my generation Ranger.
