Gas Gauge Stuck on E
Gas Gauge Stuck on E
1993 Ford Ranger XLT, 2.3L, 5-Speed
All, new member and just bought a project truck. Original problem was that gas gauge was bouncing all over the place. Replaced the fuel pump, sending unit, and fuel filter. Now the gauge is reading E without bouncing around. Twice I have started the truck at it read correct, but once I turn the truck off it goes back to E. Before you ask, yes, there is fuel in the tank.
Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum
Depending on the year........................should include that in all posts, its most likely the anti-slosh module on the back side of instrument cluster
Google: ford ranger anti-slosh module
Common issue on Fords
