Has anyone made a 4x4 shifter ?

I need to replace the 4x4 shifter motor on one of my trucks ( the one I use for Pushing snow in my yard ). I seen that the shiftster is hard to buy as it’s basicslly one guy making them. Has anyone modified or created their own manual 4x4 linkage ? I’d like to have a manual shifter if possible , one that could be operated inside the cab would be excellent

For what it's worth, the Shiftster guy actually posted yesterday on TRS indicating he had a bunch available. Also, it sounds like the huge arc of rotation you'd have to accommodate makes a DIY linkage setup really difficult.
