1991 ranger 4wd.
**** broke a while ago on headlight switch. Got one from the junk yard and
was able to get it off the switch by depressing the button. This was from a stripped ranger with good access to the light switch.

How to press the button on my switch to remove the old one? Is it possible to get to it from under the dash or do I need to pull apart the dash?...and how do you pull apart the dash ?? Thanks.

 

pull the dash panel off. its mostly clips, but it does go from the headlight switch across to the radio.
