Gauges!!
Ok i got some new gauges awhile back and they are sweet but the things stick like more than half of the time! Its like the needles have to warm up to work. Whenever i first start my truck, cold, they always stick, but after sittin in the sun for awhile the needles work. It cant be the new gauges because the oil pressure gauge started stickin before i put them in.
Anybody know whats up?

I did the same thing the first time myself, but I caught it when I did my speedo calibration run.
To get the speedo needle on, I mount the gauge cluster but don't put the glass on or the rest of the dash. Then I drive it on cruise out on the highway and put the needle on the speedo to match my GPS speed indicator. I noticed the problem when I went to do that. Had I not, I'd probably be in the same situation!
You'll be surprised how quick that dash comes apart after you get used to it. I've no disassembled LOTS of them doing mods to other's trucks and it's a piece of cake now.

Ya i figured it wouldnt be too hard the second time around... it must be off centered though because when i put the gauges on, i didnt have to take off the needles, they just slid over..so i guess they shifted over a bit or sumthin..its just weird becuase they only stick sometimes....well most of the time...but not always.
