Headlights dont work

Well, last night I turned my headlights off, went to turn them back on and got nothing, except the high beam light on the dash was on. So I figured it was a switch. Went to the junkyard and tried a healight switch as well as a signal/wiper switch, either fixed it. I also tried the relay under the hood. The same thing happened to me last week but it fixed itself after letting it sit for a few minutes. Didn't think anymore of it, until last night. I'm gonna see if the headlights are getting power after supper. I'm not sure why it is doing this. So any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

P.S. I have no headlights what so ever lol so the sooner the replys... the better.

Answered my own question. The connector for the headlight bulb was all burnt and had a horrible ground connection. I got new connectors for 10 bucks at advanced, soldered them in and I'm good to go. I blame the blue headlight bulbs I had in it from back in my ricer stage. I put the OEM Sylvanias back in it and not lookin back.
