headlights not working

recently my headlights have been not coming on. in the past i was able to wiggle the blinker/highbeam stick and get them to come on. but recently they wont come on at all. high beams work in either position, but the normal lights dont come on when i pull it back.

all my fuses checked out good, and its not an alternator problem. could it be something in my steering wheel shorting/not connecting?

(also, sometimes hitting a turn signal would shut them off)

possible multifunction switch. check the wiring harness going to the multifunction switch also to make sure no pins have pulled out of the connector.

02 Ford ranger headlights not working

hi I have a 02 ford ranger I just got, the headlights aren’t working. Low beam or high beam. The high beams will work if I pull the lever and hold it, but that’s not right. I tried changing the blinker lever and that wasn’t the issue. Tried to check fuses but can’t find the right fuse, however, I don’t think that’s it as I checked all fuses and none were blown. I’m stumped, any suggestions? Anything else I can try? And headlight relays? Or modules I should try to change? Also can’t seem to find fuse diagram for my truck either, as I don’t have a manual. My ranger is the 4x4 4.0 motor. All my parking lights and blinkers work, just can’t seem to figure these headlights out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
