Icon4 HELP WITH BLINKERS

So last night i went thru a puddle on a trail that was a little bit to deep. water came over hood on left side. water poured into the truck. truck instantly shut down. Luckily my friends 7.3 was right there. Got the truck running. Now i dont have blinkers front or back. the 3rd brake light does work. the parking lams front and back do work. Any help is great.

Also sould i pull the rubber floor out to let the foam under it dry? anything else im forgetting

Yes, pull the floor and let the insulation dry

Check under the hood fuses. Pull the battery? Let the whole truck dry out for a day or two. Put it back together. Should work.

you shorted out your wiring system, check the wires and fuses.
or put some blinker fluid back in it.

My turn signals and hazard lights stopped flashing recently on my 2010 FX4 (while driving around town). The problem was the flasher relay. Not sure where this relay is located and if it's vulnerable to water from a puddle.

What's the fix? Where is the relay located?

In the fuse box under the hood. Look in your owners manual.

That's quite the "puddle."

Thanks for the reply. My stock flasher relay only lasted 16,000 km (10,000 miles). Not sure if it's one off or something that will be an ongoing issue.
