Help with fuses

Can anyone with a 1994 ranger or less (and posibly 1995) tell me wich system does the fuse numer 1 protects?

I do not have the owners manual and that fuse is blowing instantly any fuse i put in even with the truck off.

Also my indoor light doesnt work (idk if its related)...

No but it does power courtesy lights like the glove box light and map lights in addition to the dome light, if you have those options.

Thanks! the glove box indeed has a bulb, and the map lights well those came apart with the dome light(since they are stuck each other) and even withouth that piece in place it still blowed up a fuse so its somewhere else :(
