HELP nedd a new speedo/cluster

hi guys, i asked this question at the end of one of my other posts and nobody has really answered it.
I have a 07 sport super cab, I pulled my instrument cluster to remover the buzzer and I think i messed up my gas and tach needles, they will not read right at all.

my question, if I get another cluster, will it effect my digital odomerter and will it effect my PATS system. I read on here somewhere that the PATS may need to be reprogramed if you use a different cluster.

on another note, anyone here ever put a Dakota Digital in any vehicle? they look nice, but $500 for one is steep

When you take the needles off you need to make sure you put them in the same spot. Another cluster will swap in. Just get one from a junkyard for an 07 and then change the mileage to match yours. Its easy. I'm sure there is a way to fix yours as well though.

I didn't remove the needles at all, I tried to remove the tach but they are the most solidly attached needles I have ever tried to remove. my cluster has digital odometer, is it stored in the cluster or the pcm?

so is it safe to say that the PATS system has nothing to do with the cluster?
as in if I replace the cluster it won't leave me imobilized?
