stock vs hot spark plugs on a carburated 1984 2.8 V6 engine. help
so I'm getting ready to change the spark plugs on a bronco 2 I got some time ago. since it's going to be used mainly as a weekend vehicle and for some offroading, I've had friends tell me that I should get hotter spark plugs.
I've researched a bit online and apparently hotter plugs are recommendable for slower driving/offroading or vehicles that are driven only once in a while.
is this true?
If so, what brand/temp range spark plugs should I try to get?
I know different brands use different grading scales, so that has me pretty confused as well. I know I can tell if a plug is hot/cold by just looking at the insulation, but I don't wanna end up with spark plugs that are too hot.
thanks for the help
